I'm an experienced piano teacher who tailors lessons to the individual, making lessons fun and progressive for the student. I specialise in teaching classical piano from grades 1 - 5, and in composition tuition. I hold seasonal musical concerts for students so that they can develop performance skills in a supportive performing environment.
I'm a Glasgow based classical musician who loves nothing more than tinkling at home on my piano. Since the age of five I've played the piano, receiving my Grade 8 in 2007. I've continued my passion in music through composing, teaching and performance. My favourite music to play is Chilly Gonzales and composers from the Romantic Era including Liszt, Rachmaninoff & Debussy.
Previously I've worked for Pulse and Musical Minds, and helped them develop a musical lessons App to give students support outside of lessons in school.
Ages
Children can start lessons from the age of 5 although may have to wait until 6 and everyone varies at this point in their ability, especially the size and strength of fingers!
ADULTS - IT'S NEVER TOO LATE! I have a great relationship with all the adults I teach, and they have accomplished some really
impressive results. It's a common misconception to think it's too late to learn an instrument once you've grown up!
